Community Supports Program
The Community Supports Program (CSP) is a set of community-based services and supports funded through Nebraska’s Division of Developmental Disabilities. The CSP offers funding for services to assist persons with disabilities in living, working, and participating in their community.
This “consumer-directed” program provides choices of services and providers not previously available for persons with developmental disabilities in Nebraska. These choices are important, as it has been shown that people who feel they have control over their lives, their services, and their supports are more likely to feel and be successful.
A Community Supports Program Consumer Handbook was developed to assist people to determine whether the community supports program is the right option and as a guide for those who choose to participate.
