Adolescent Health

About the program

The Nebraska Adolescent Health Program supports all caring, supportive adults working with young people. The goal of this program is to make sure that these adults have the knowledge and skills they need to assist youth and young adults so they can grow and become happy, healthy, successful adults.

The program receives Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention funding from the Family Youth Services Bureau. These funding streams support the delivery of positive youth development programming across the state through partnerships with local organizations. Under the Title V Maternal Child Health Block Grant, the program also leads adolescent and young adult-related work. Last, the program builds partnerships to improve the health and well-being of young people in Nebraska.
