Initial Administrator Training

After January 1, 2005, an Assisted-Living Facility Administrator must have successfully completed training consisting of a total of at least 30 hours in the following areas: (175 NAC 4-006.02A)

• Resident Care and Services
• Social Services
• Financial Management
• Administration
• Gerontology
• Rules, Regulations and Standards relating to the Operation of an Assisted-Living Facility

• Application for Approval of Initial Assisted-Living Facility Administrator Training

Programs offering the Initial Administrator Training must submit an application for course approval by Licensing & Regulatory Affairs.
