Medical and Specialized Health Section

A Physician Assistant means any person who graduates from a program approved by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant (ACR-PA)and the Board, who satisfactorily completes a proficiency exam, and whom the Board and the Department of Health and Human Services, Division of Public Health, Licensure Unit approves to perform medical services under the supervision of a physician or group of physicians approved by the board to supervise a Physician Assistant.
