Veterinary Technicians
Application Procedures

To apply for licensure, you must submit the following:

1. Completed application form;
2. A fee of $100;
3. Certified final transcript sent directly to our office from the applicant’s accredited veterinary technician program;
4. Official documentation of passing scores obtained on the Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE). Those who took the VTNE in a state other than Nebraska need to have the scores sent directly from the American Association of Veterinary State Boards (AAVSB) at (877) 698-8482. Those who took the VTNE in Nebraska need not have scores sent, they are on file in this office;
5. Valid verification of age, i.e. photocopy of drivers license or birth certificate.
