Veterinary Technicians
Examination Requirements

In order to be licensed in Nebraska, Veterinary Technicians must pass the Veterinary Technician National Examination (VTNE).

The VTNE is administered by the Nebraska Board of Veterinary Medicine and Surgery.   In order to take the VTNE in Nebraska, you need to apply for the exam and also apply for a license.

To have your VTNE scores sent to this office please contact the American Association of Veterinary State Boards (AAVSB) at (877) 698-8482.

If you already took the Examination in Nebraska, the scores are already on file in our office and do not need to be sent to us.
