In addition to the acts specified in Neb. Rev. Stat. §
71-147, of the Uniform Licensing Law, actions or
practices which fail to conform to accepted standards for massage therapy and which could
jeopardize the health, safety and welfare of the patient shall constitute unprofessional
conduct by a massage therapist. A list of unprofessional conduct and grounds on which the
Department may deny, refuse renewal of or discipline a license can be found in Neb. Rev.
Stat. § 71-147 and 172 Nebraska Administrative Code (NAC) 81 - Regulations Relating to
Massage Therapy, Chapter 10 - Grounds on Which the Department May Deny, Refuse Renewal of,
or Discipline a License.
