Psychology
Psychology is the observation, description, evaluation, interpretation, or modification of human behavior by the application of psychological principles, methods, or procedures for the purpose of preventing or eliminating symptomatic, maladaptive, or undesired behavior and of enhancing interpersonal relationships, work and life adjustment, personal effectiveness, behavioral health, and mental health.

30-Day Psychology Permit
A person holding a doctoral degree in psychology from an institution of higher education who is licensed as a psychologist under the laws of another jurisdiction and if a person provides no more than an aggregate of 30 days of professional services as a psychologist during the 12 month period beginning with the first date of issuance, may be issued a letter to practice.

Psychological Assistant
Psychological Assistant is an individual with a master's degree in clinical, counseling, or educational psychology or an educational specialist degree in school psychology who administers and scores and may develop interpretations of psychological testing under the supervision of a psychologist.

Provisional License as a Psychologist
Provisional License is issued to a person who needs to obtain the required 1 year of supervised postdoctoral experience in psychology in order to obtain a license as a psychologist.  A provisional license must be obtained prior to providing psychological services.
