Certification of Limited Project Designer

To apply for certification as an Asbestos Limited Project Designer, you must submit the following to the Department of Regulation and Licensure, Licensing & Regulatory Affairs Division:

1. A completed application.
2. The certification fee of $101.
3. Documentation of successful completion, within the preceding year, of an Asbestos Project Designer course approved by the Department of Regulation and Licensure, Asbestos Control/Lead-Based Paint Program with proof of scoring at least 70% on the final written examination. Applicants who have taken the initial course more than a year prior to applying for certification shall submit the minimum of a 3 day Project Designer initial course certificate and all subsequent 8 hour Project Designer refresher course certificates. 4. Documentation of successful completion, within the preceding year, of the 4 hour Nebraska law, rules and regulations course approved by the Department of Regulation and Licensure, Asbestos Control/Lead-Based Paint Program with proof of scoring at least 70% on the final written examination.
