Examination Requirements

The qualifying examination for licensure as an Occupational Therapist/Occupational Therapy Assistant is administered through the National Board of Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT). Please contact the NBCOT for any questions regarding the examination:

If you did not request NBCOT to report the examination scores to the State of Nebraska at the time of your exam, please have the Professional Examination Service (PES) submit examination scores to the Department of Regulation and Licensure, Licensing & Regulatory Affairs.
