"More than anything, I could handle this disease and manage my
life better if I knew I had a place to call home."
Person living with HIV/AIDS in Nebraska
The Nebraska HIV/AIDS Housing Plan is the result of nine months of planning by
various groups. Participants (or "members") included housing and service
providers, people living with HIV/AIDS and others. By identifying and planning for the
essential needs of Nebraskans living with HIV/AIDS and their families, they provided
important input on the Nebraska HIV/AIDS Housing Plan.
The research, development, and publication of this plan was funded in part by the Housing Opportunities for Persons with AIDS (HOPWA) National Technical
Assistance Program in partnership with the U.S.
Department of Housing and Urban Developments Office of HIV/AIDS Housing.
