Nebraska CARES will
achieve its goal of reducing cancer morbidity and mortality only through the power of
partnership. A strong and united network can address cancer more effectively as one voice
than an individual or organization confronting these issues alone. Nebraska CARES welcomes
new partners who are dedicated to working on the goals and objectives outlined in the State Cancer Plan
Partners benefit by:
- Staying informed on cancer control efforts in Nebraska
- Discovering new resources and potential funding for cancer activities
- Unique opportunities to collaborate with fellow partners
- Receiving regular communication through tri-yearly newsletters and upcoming event
notices
As a new partner, you are encouraged to become active in one of the following
workgroups: cancer disparities, clinical trials, end-of-life, genetics, nutrition and
physical activity, survivorship, tobacco, and workforce. These workgroups provide the
opportunity for you to directly make an impact on important cancer issues.
