A Point in Time Study:
Self-Reported Health Status of Nebraska Adults by Local and District Public Health
Department Region, 2005
This report was developed to better understand the health status and health behaviors of
Nebraska adults within Nebraska’s local public health department regions. It is
intended to be useful at the state and local levels by providing health and public health
professionals, key stakeholders, and decision makers with information to better plan and
evaluate public health efforts.
Results are presented for the state, as well as, for each of the 18 health department
regions. In addition, this report contains contact information for state public health
offices, and contact information for local and district public health departments.
