Educational Programming

YRTCG Library A key part of the over all plan at the YRTC-Geneva is the education program. The State Department of Education has accredited the education program as a special purpose school. The school offers: all
  • academic classes;
  • GED classes, and;
  • independent living classes.

The school program centers around courses normally thought to be required areas for graduation throughout Nebraska. A full grade program exists including Title I and Special Education Services for thos youth with that need.

YRTC-G offers an eight-week summer school program. Each class meets the required number of hours to equal a full semester of regular schoolwork. Pre-vocational training is also offered in:
  • business;
  • clerical skills;
  • word processing, and;
  • computers.
