All providers are strongly encouraged to conduct Medicaid business electronically.  Nebraska Medicaid supports all HIPAA-mandated electronic healthcare transactions, including:

  • Claims (Dental, Professional and Institutional)
  • Remittance Advice
  • Claim Status Inquiry
  • Client Eligibility Inquiry
  • Health Care Services Review (Authorization Requests)
  • Premium/Capitation Payments
  • Benefit Enrollment/Disenrollment

We also support and strongly encourage use of Electronic Funds Transfer of your Medicaid payments.
