Mercury Program Bucket Project

image of a thermometer The Bucket Project is a collection program that allows Nebraskans to dispose of any pure mercury-containing items that will fit in a collection bucket (a 5-gallon bucket) for recycling.

These buckets are available in various locations across the state.  Mercury Program staff encourage people to call a PDF drop-off site before bringing materials.
