Community Fair Scheduled at BSDC on March 25
Lincoln The public is invited to the first-ever community fair at the
Beatrice State Developmental Center (BSDC), 3000
Lincoln Boulevard, on March 25, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. BSDC is operated by the
Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS).
"The Community Fair allows local businesses to showcase their service and products
to people who live and work at BSDC," said John Wyvill, director of the Division of
Developmental Disabilities in DHHS. "It also gives the public a chance to be on
campus and develop relationships with the clients and staff who will be attending the
Fair."
Signs will direct the public to the BSDC Carstens Center Gym, where over a dozen local
businesses will have exhibit booths. Each participating business will donate a prize.
Participants who visit all of the exhibit booths will be eligible for the prize drawing.
"Id especially like to thank R. J. Crandall with Beatrice Family
Chiropractic for his commitment to making the Community Fair possible," Wyvill said.
"His energy and enthusiasm was instrumental in making it a reality."
The following businesses will have exhibit booths at the Community Fair:
