*Vital Chek: This service may be accessed by calling the Vital Records office at (402) 471-6440, from 9 a.m. through 3 p.m. Central Time, Monday through Friday, except holidays. Applications must be charged to your major credit card and sent to an address where someone will be available to sign for the package. The fee for this service is non-refundable. Requires UPS Next Business Day Delivery. These prices are for service in the Continental US. Delivery to other areas or Saturday delivery may include an increase in fees. You may apply to view a record of an event that occurred in Nebraska (if the record is not closed by state statute) by:
- coming into the office of Vital Records, 1st floor of the Gold's Galleria Building, 1033 "O" Street, Suite 130 (11th & N Streets) in Lincoln, NE;
- showing a current government-issued photo id (such as a drivers license);
- meeting the
proper purpose regulations;
- paying the non-refundable search fee
- correctly identifying the record.
